Upcycling

Andy got some new jeans for Christmas and really wanted me to try and use his old jeans to make something. They were way too bad to be donated but couldn't justify just throwing them away. Here's what I came up with:



Anyone else have a good idea for using up nasty old jeans? I'd love to hear your ideas. I've got about 4 more pairs.

She's On the Move

Annabelle is now able to get around pretty quickly. The boys had their first experience (a few weeks ago) with her knocking down their building. Poor boys, this is only the beginning. They took it like champs, though.

It doesn't matter what they're doing as long as she's right there, she's a happy girl!

A Reminder of God's Promise

This is the longest rainbow we have ever seen with the kids. I just love rainbows!

Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth. Genesis 9:16

Happy New Year!

We spent New Years Day having brunch with some friends and then baking a stromboli for dinner. Annabelle looked so cute, I couldn't resist a photo shoot.



Had to take a picture of the ingredients so I knew for next time! Such a good idea on Andy's part.
