Three!
Our sweet Joseph is now three years old!
He has grown into such an amazing little boy. We have enjoyed so much these last 3 years with him and are amazed at what life he brings to our family. I imagine he is the spunkiest kiddo God ever created. He is a true character! As wild and crazy as he is, he's got a heart of gold and an endless supply of love waiting to bestow on anyone he encounters.
To celebrate we first went to Gigi and GranRan's. The theme at Gigi's was firemen! He got all the fireman paraphernalia imaginable and then got to visit a firehouse!
Here they are with Mr. Chris. The fireman who took them on the tour.
Gigi made Joseph this jacket. She did such a fabulous job. He's totally obsessed with it.

Birthday boy waiting for his feast of macaroni and cheese and hot dogs :)

The boys got into Daddy's old costumes.
Gigi and her granddaughter! She got her this owl outfit for Christmas. Isn't it the most adorable thing?
Then were able to celebrate with our community group on Joe's actual birthday. Here he is with Miss Kim who made him this castle cake! Amazing, isn't it?!

The cake was to go with the kings robe I made him.
We praise God for the blessing of Joseph!

Love Day
This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

February Happenings - Pt 2
I guess I took more pictures in February than I originally had thought. Here are some more.
Play dough time.. daddy makes an Annabelle in her woombie with her arm sticking out.
Sam is obsessed with tinker toys. He got them for his birthday in July and has been perfecting using them ever since. He's a pirate here!
Annabelle enjoying her heart pancake for Valentine's weekend.
Snuggling in the big bed.
Joseph sporting his new rain boots from Nana. Spring is almost here and they can hardly wait!
Here he is sick as a dog. But, absolutely insisting on keeping his rain boots on!
Family worship is getting a little more spunky with our rainboots obsession. And yes, he constantly makes a microphone and various instruments for worship!
Sam in a box! (This ones for Aunt Juju).
One of my favorite parts of being a mom is middle of the night feedings! I know that sounds crazy. There is nothing quite like snuggling up with your newest baby while the rest of the house sleeps away. I've been told more times than I have hairs on my head to cherish these moments while they are here, because they are gone in a blink of an eye. And, the older I get, the more I start listening to advice!
I could have had them doing dozens of fun filled activities for the day, but nothing compares in their eyes to night time reading with Daddy. I guess I can't blame them, he's one fantastic man! And he sure does know how to make the God of the universe understandable to little minds.
Joseph is officially potty trained. Waahooo!
Part 3 coming soon...

February Happenings
Since the first of the year, I've picked back up the habit of keeping a daily journal and also have been writing more in the kids' notebooks. So, the time I would have been able to blog is now being dedicated to writing elsewhere.
I will try and remain faithful, though, to post what photos I have been taking lately, but I apologize for the increasingly dull blog!
Here is my attempt at capturing our month of February:
Even though they are boys, they love having tea parties!
Still toothless!
We rearranged the playroom so it feels more like a classroom and now they have a reading cave, as they call it.
Children's museum visit, Sam found a kangaroo outfit and he thought it was the coolest! Still has his baby kangaroo obsession.

She found my fabric stash under the boys' beds. Look at that smile. I think she's already a natural lover of fabric!
Another birthday crown for a friend. I'm loving making these!
And I'm REALLY enjoying making these!

Spring fever.. I'm rearranging rooms left and right.
The boys are learning to sew by sewing new pillows for their cave.
Sword fights
The boys are learning to take pictures. They are actually really good!
Aunt Julie and Patrick came for a visit.
The name 'School Bus School' seems to have dropped out of view, but whatever it's called, it's going well!

We had another round of sicknesses.

To be continued...
