Give Me Food!

Oh my, does this girl love to eat. She is by far the earliest lover of food of any of our children. She is currently into bananas, avocados, sweet potatoes and watermelon.

Trip to New York

The boys couldn't get enough of Uncle Dave's pond. They want one.

This picture of Samuel reminds me of the professional photo shoot we had taken 2 years ago.

Grandma (Mary Jane) and Rosemary.

Grandpa and Annabelle discussing being 3.

All the Migons that were together.

Gram and Rosie. Such a sweet memory.

Such a blessing seeing this full rainbow that was a double in some areas. We actually were able to follow it to its base. I've never done that before.

Visited with Mrs. Diana, Mr. Chip and Gingo.

Uncle Steve and Rosemary couldn't get enough of each other during the wedding. She just adored him.

So happy with how this family photo came out.

I love this picture of me and my mama.

You can dress them up, but you certainly shouldn't take them out!

Nana and Poppy are never happier than when they are with their grandkids. Look at those smiles!

Ryleigh and Annabelle had such a great time together.

When Annabelle sat down at her seat at the table she looked over at me and said "Mommy, I totally have a knife!" Haha.

Snuggles with Ryleigh

Meredith was such a stunning bride. She is such a sweetheart. I had a great week getting to know her. I am so excited for her and Troy's life together. She just loved the girls. Annabelle adored her as well. Don't mind Rosemary's obnoxious face in the photo! Haha! Look at those fat knees.

This was their first wedding in a very long time, and their first with dancing. They had so much fun.

Especially Annabelle! The bridesmaids danced with her all night long!

Sweetie Pie Rose Puppy happily sleeping in Uncle Steve's arms. Fingers in mouth, holding fabric.

Annabelle somehow acquired the flowers that were throw. She looks like a little flower girl here.

It was a very fun night spent with family.

Annabelle got a sword and shield for her birthday, just like the boys have. She's so happy.

Swimming with Ryleigh

Greg and Cory's engagement party. aka the funnest place on earth! Complete with Dinosaur BBQ, an ice cream truck, golf cart rides around their enormous property, paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, stand up paddle boarding, golf course, band, you name it. Such a fun ending to a perfect week.

Happy 3rd Birthday Annabelle!

To break up the long trip up to New York we started Friday after work and stayed over at Gigi and GranRan's house. We had a birthday breakfast for Annabelle Saturday morning and then we were on our way.

Here she is opening her "Hello Catty" birthday shirt. I just love how the boys are so anxiously awaiting what it will be. Gamba of course needed to be in on the action, too.

We wanted to get up to New York quickly because my cousin, Brent, was graduating from high school that day and they were having a graduation party for him. We made it in time and they even had a birthday cake for Annabelle so we could celebrate!

This sweet and sassy girl has brought our family so much joy over the past 3 years! She is such a gift. We thank God for her precious spitfire personality and caring heart.

2-5-0-6

Probably over a year ago one of the boys noticed that after Rosemary was born and then after Joseph turned 5, our kids would be the exact ages as our address. So for months Joseph was on me to make them shirts that have their ages on them and they would take a picture in front of our house wearing their age shirts. Well, the shirts never got finished so I just made signs. Thankfully they weren't disappointed. In all the chaos of getting ready to head out of state for 10 days I finally took some photos of the kids being 2-5-0-6 literally at the 11th hour. We took the picture and jumped in the car. One day shy of Annabelle's 3rd birthday. Haha!

Another Milestone

Rosemary has once again reached another milestone earlier than we were ready for. She's sitting in her booster seat. Once she had a taste of food, she has just wanted more and more, so the booster was passed on from Annabelle to her. Luckily it seems as though her interest in nursing hasn't diminished.

Andy thinks its hilarious to put her up to the table next to him like this to show just how small she really is. I love this picture of them.

Rosemary's First 6 Months

I have never done a collage before but figured there was a website to assist in making one. Of course there was. I'm a little obsessed. There will definitely be more where this came from.

Lots to Celebrate!

In typical Eckert fashion we're celebrating again. This time Father's Day and Miss Kim's birthday. After church we went on a picnic and to swim at Walnut Creek Park to celebrate these two very special people!

And since we'll be gone on Annabelle's birthday, Rachel brought her birthday gifts to church. She got her a plate, cup, bowl, coloring book and bag all of Hello Kitty stuff, which Annabelle so affectionately calls "Hello Catty" or "Missy Catty". She loves it all! She has worn it on her shoulder almost the entire day. Here she is eating dinner with it on. Haha!

Bunk Beds

Knowing that our weekends have been jam packed lately and that the next two weekends would be filled up as well, he promised the boys that they would be able to sleep in their beds Saturday night.

And being the man of his word that he is - here he is finishing tucking them in. Notice the clock - 11:59!

We put them to bed before this in other rooms and then transferred them into bed while they were asleep. Neither one of them woke up during the transfer. So they woke up in the morning in their beds. It was great!

I think I'm going to attempt to finish the wood somehow after we get back from vacation. Either staining or painting them. Not sure what yet. Or they might just stay like this for the next 20 years!

Rosemary's Half Birthday

I'm obsessed with photographing my children! Hence the two different photo shoots on the same day...

She was determined to take a bit of the flower and she was successful!

Rosemary - 6 Months Old

The caption of this first picture should read "I used to be only this big but now look at me!"

Stuck Footer - And 1000 Posts!

As dangerous as this could be, I always think it's hilarious to check on a kid sleeping and find them like this. How in the world could this be comfortable?!

Daddy is just about finished with the boys' bunk beds so everyone is switching their beds. Good thing, because she has just about maxed out this bassinet.

And with this post I will now have 1000 posts on this blog. Amazing! It's been a little over 6 years since I started blogging. What a joy this blog has been!
