Mastitis

Andy went away for 4 days for work and I was excited to simplify life a little - PB&J sandwiches for dinner and sewing all night. But, of course, that's not what really happened. I got mastitis immediately after he left and texted Robbie in tears asking for backup. A few hours later she was there! Praise God for relatives that live close and who are so willing to come to my rescue. Such a blessing. While I was crashed on the couch the boys set up a puppet show for me. Melted my heart.

I had a friend come over and give me all of the things I would need to kick this infection and it all worked beautifully. So thankful for friends that are educated in alternative medicine. I try to avoid antibiotics at all costs and was so thrilled that once again there is another illness that can be cured by traditional medicine if only you know the remedies.

So by the time Andy came home, I was just about back to normal! It was such a good reminder to me how God is my ultimate provider. Even when Andy is gone, he places people in my life that will come alongside of me when I am in need. I am never alone and always have my Savior watching out for me.

Green Eggs and Ham

For years I have dreamed of the boys being able to read to our younger children. Well, that day has come. They are finally to the point where they are excited about reading to others and confident enough in their reading where they enjoy it for the most part. Annabelle is thrilled. She picks up so much because she sits in on most of the teaching time with the boys. It's amazing what she knows at age 3. I find so much joy in seeing children of all ages learning side by side.

Rosemary - 9 Months Old

With all the photos taken at the park, I almost forgot to take her traditional chalkboard shot.

Joe's First T-ball Game

They decided on a team name and they are the Tigers. Too cute that Daddy was on the Tigers when he was little, as well.

This picture makes me CRACK UP!

He said he wanted the highest number on the team! He got it. #10! And now he's sporting his new hat.

Joe's cheerleader!

He was always looking for me, smiling and waving.

And as expected he was a natural. He played catcher and first base for the 2 innings they played. So get these rules... everyone bats each inning, there are no outs and there are only 2 innings. Oh, and you don't keep score. Pretty intense.

Practices are at 5:30 on Thursdays and games are on Saturdays at 9am.

Sibling Love

This face of Joseph says it all. This is his expression when he just cannot handle how cute Rosie is. "I just want to squeeze her she's so cute."

I'm loving how they are incorporating Rosie into their dominoes. They build a whole path and then let her crawl in to knock it down.

And because narrowing down pictures is just not my forte, I will post all three of these adorable shots.

Joseph's First T-ball Practice

Joseph had been asking for a few months if he could try T-ball so when the fall came around I was determined to find him a team. The fall season is significantly shorter than the spring so it will be a great time to try it out. This boy couldn't have been more excited when the day of his first practice came around. It's a 4-6 year old coed team and he's the biggest on the team. I need no explanations for the photos to follow. His face says it all.

Daddy is quite happy that he can attend more of the kids' sporting events with his new job. Watching Joe's first t-ball practice was a must.

I just had to include these precious photos of Rosie so content after she was reunited with her daddy after a long day apart.

Seeing the joy on his face melts my heart.

Annabelle's First Day of Ballet

The time has come... Annabelle is starting ballet. She's been so thrilled for this day to arrive and it's finally here. Just warning you... unbearable cuteness ahead.

Here she is... all ready to go... Spiderman tattoos and all.

I don't know who had more fun - Annabelle or Daddy watching her. Here he is, his first week of working at a new job and he's rushing to get to her ballet class on time. I will cherish this picture for decades. This man's love for our children melts my heart.

She loved every second of it. I'm so excited for her to be able to do something she loves so much.
