Joseph's Dedication

Before Patrick left dodge, we wanted him to perform a dedication ceremony for Joseph. We ended up doing it Sunday night at small group, which was also the Lester's goodbye party. It was a very casual event, but it meant so much! We were so glad Aunt Julie was able to be there to celebrate this event in Joseph's life.

If you are not familiar with baby dedications, they are:

• An opportunity to thank God for the precious gift of your child.
• An opportunity to publicly declare your intentions to raise your child in a Christian home.
• A family dedication, where the parents commit themselves to abide by biblical principles and to raise their children according to God’s standards.

It was a very special event, and we are so glad we were able to share it with the Lester's before they moved.
