Since our
city market is now over (BOOHOO!!!) I bought up a ton of vegetables to freeze over the summer. I got about 20 lbs of sweet potatoes and baked and mashed some of them for our sweet Joe Frog. He caught site of the big pile and was going crazy! I thought I'd let him have a taste of what the winter had to bring...

It sure made for one happy boy!

Oh, that is great. I love to see Joe enjoying himself and I occassionally need the reminder that a mess is okay!! Amazing how a mess never bothered me in my classroom, but I feel differently about it at home!
Too cute!
I put most of our fruits and veggies in the vacuum seal bags, but the sweet potatoes I puree before I freeze them so I just put those in freezer safe containers.
