Hey guys! As I was about to check your blog, I was trying to remember if you guys "find out" the sex beforehand...ok, so here are my suggestions:
Boy:Luke (I also like William:)
Girl:Caroline
Mostly b/c you guys are pretty traditional namers...I don't see a Geraldo in your future!!! Can't wait to hear!

Alana, I've never heard of Noah for a girl. That's pretty cool.
My eleven-year-old son, Noah, has a friend with the same name and she is a girl.
I like Caroline. One of our clients named her daughter HannahBeth Caroline and I love it. My middle name is Carol though, so it is nice to hear those old names that still aren't even common among families who choose more traditional names.

Boy names I like and haven't used yet: Luke, Gabriel, Josiah, and Judah

What nicknames were you thinking of for Elizabeth? That's my thing... I can't think of any that I 'love'.
A long long time ago Lily was a nickname for Elizabeth. Seems far fetched but I love it. Not sure how others would think though.

My middle name is Elizabeth and so is Matt's little sister's. He says the best nickname for Elizabeth is "Lizard Breath," which is what he called his little sister!
I like Eliza and Beth, both! Lily is adorable, and nicknames are not always perfectly logical. My dad's name is William, but he is called Bill and many Richards go by the nickname Dick.

I like Elizabeth too! Joseph and Samuel are both biblical names. So I like a biblical name for a girl too. Libby is also a nickname for Elizabeth. I agree...nicknames are not always logical, so call her what you like!!! I think it's a boy though!!:)Denise
Denise, I'm going to have to find that video that we taped of everyone and their predictions of when our next babies would come and what they would be. I think you said like 2 years ago that our next would be a boy, but the one after that would be a girl :)

One of Leslie's friends is named Elizabeth and she goes by Betts, which I always thought was cute. I love Elizabeth and Hannah. I knew a girl in college named Micah and always thought that was pretty, too. For a boy, Noah, Zachary, or Alexander. You know I am a letters person, so Alex (A) would be the same number of letters from J (Joseph) as J is from S (Samuel). I know it's silly!
I love Hannah too, but I'm stuck because Hannah was Samuel's mother in the Bible. I don't know if that matters or not, but the names are so closely linked. Do you think that should matter???
