First Hike

Saturday we went our first family hike with Annabelle to Ragged Mountain Natural Area. We had a nice hike up the mountain and then rewarded ourselves with some berries on the way back. Annabelle slept the entire time on daddy. It felt great to get back outside as a family and enjoying God's creation.

Yum...those look like mulberries. A fav of both mine and Tony's growing up.

Don't think I've said congrats on the birth of your little sweetie. I've enjoyed the pics and am so glad everything went well for you. Hope you're able to rest a little and take a little time for you. Easier said than done, I know. :-) Have a great week!

Jill - So good to hear from you! I don't know if they were mulberries or not, but they were yummy! There were rasberries too.

How are things with your three? It's crazy that we each have 3 kids. It's going to take me awhile to get used to. Time sure does fly!

Amy,
I'll be curious to hear your take on 2 vs. 3. I think the jump to 2 was harder at first, but...I don't know in the long run. Having an infant with (almost) 5 and 3 year olds is usually quite fun. They keep Paige entertained!

The older two were at the farm all week (without parents!! How did they get old enough to do that???) so it was interesting to have "just" one again. Why did I think I was busy when it was just Kayla?? ;-) It was pretty quiet around here, that's for sure, since Tony was also gone. I did forget that when it's just mom and baby, mom is the entertainment. I guess that's where all the work came in.

Hope you're having fun and getting some sleep. Take care...they all look so precious. You're blessed!!

-Jill
