First Smiles
Annabelle has been starting to smile and it just melts our hearts. She has only smiled truly at Joseph. It's adorable. He feels very special. We have yet to capture a great picture, but this first one can hold you over until we get a better one.

I love first smiles - the sweetest!
I think I need to add Samuel as a follower of your blog. I showed him a few posted pics after Annabelle was born, and now he asks to 'catch up with the Eckerts' every other day or so. Good thing you have this blog - it sure is keeping my little man happy. Although he keeps asking me to find a picture of Gamba.
This morning Samuel said 'mommy, maybe you should put some pictures of baby sister and me on a block'. I had no idea what he was talking about! After making him repeat himself a dozen times, I realized he was saying 'blog'. So, maybe I need to start one of these - just so Samuel can 'catch up' with his own family every few days too:)
Oh Marcy, that is too precious! I will post a picture of Gamba on here just for Samuel! Then again, there's not much that little man could ask me for that I would say no :)
