Today was not a fun day. It should have been, though. We should have been outside enjoying this beautiful fall weather, and celebrating Samuel's 15 month birthday, but instead Sam and Mommy were inside. Sam is sick.
Dada and Sam went on a hike when Mommy was at her prayer walk on Saturday morning and by Sunday night he was not the happiest of campers. It must have been just a bit too cold for his small system. We took a field trip to the doctors yesterday and he's got a small ear infection in each ear and has a whole bunch of phlegm in his chest. Fun stuff. So, he's on a steroid for his chest. I opted not to get the antibiotic for his ears because they weren't bad enough. He doesn't need to be on any more medication that what is totally necessary. So, we are making lots of progress on the steroids and hopefully after his congestion goes down the ears will clear up as well. Only time will tell.

I'm so sorry! I know your little one must be miserable (and it can't be too pleasant for you, either)! We'll be praying that he feels better very soon!
Lord, Please come in power and touch Samuel's body and heal him! We are asking you, Jehovah Rapha, the God who Heals to come and restore! Thank you, Jesus!
